Facilities Management generates several regular modes of communication for its employees and customers. Below is a description of each publication and its audience.

Employee Focus - Employee Focus is a monthly feature article highlighting an exemplary Facilities Management employee. With a diverse workforce of more than 1,000 employees on the East Bank, West Bank and St. Paul campuses, these articles help bring FM staff together and and give  them an opportunity get to know their co-workers a little better.

News Features - In order to keep it's staff and customers informed, FM regularly posts important news items and features about the good work its employees are doing on the department's website.

Mike's Memo - Associate Vice President for Facilities Management Mike Berthelsen created 'Mike's Memo' for the purpose of communicating important information to FM staff. Several times each month he will address current issues that affect the way FM does business.

Monthly Operations Scorecard - Each month FM produces a monthly scorecard detailing progress against 16 key performance measures. The scorecard aids FM leadership in assessing unit performance at a monthly operating review. It is available via email, as well as posted on the FM web site and district communication boards.

Pipeline - Pipeline is Facilities Management's Monthly newsletter. A collection of university and FM news items, anniversaries and memos from Associate Vice President Mike Berthelsen, Pipeline is designed to keep FM's employees and customers informed.

Transformation Project Archives - In 2006, Facilities Management set out to transform the way we do business by focusing on our customers preferences and building a new culture. The Transformation was a two-year process which drew on the experience of front-line staff, supervisors and partner organizations to create both a new organization and sustainable cultural change.
