Login Prompt
It is Facilities Management policy that all workers with a network login account login and logout each day they access the network. Here are instructions for logging in.
  1. The network login screen (shown below) is presented during the Windows 95/98 workstation start up process.
  2. Type your user name in the Username blank.
  3. Type your password in the Password blank.
  4. Click OK

What to do if you have problems

  1. Have you recently changed your password? It can take up to 10 – 15 minutes for the password change to propagate throughout the entire network security system. Try again in a few minutes.
  2. Are you trying to use the old password? Did you change your password and forgot the new one? Call the help desk at x51830 to have your password reset.
  3. Is your account locked because your password has expired? Did you ignore the grace login prompts? Call the help desk at x51830 to have your password reset.
  4. Is your account disabled because of an intruder lockout? Wait a few minutes and try again. If after waiting 20 minutes and it still does not work call the help desk at x51830 who will reset your account.
  5. Still have problems? Call the help desk at x51830 for assistance.
