The Kronos Time Keeping System will make time management easy for FM. This system has two main components: the timeclock itself and the timekeeping software (WorkForce Manager) which allows the manager see and manage employee time.   

The timeclock replaces the hand-written and manual capture of shift start and stop times. They are user-friendly and require just two steps to collect the punch times.

The timekeeping manager is the back-end system where employee information, schedules and punch times will be collected. It has easy-to-use features that provide timely labor information, a reliable technology and a consistent practice across FM.

Below is the most up-to-date training material developed to assist the supervisor in using Kronos. 

• Manager Introductory Training (PDF) - An introductory training for supervisors that explains the different forms in Kronos as well as guidance on how to use Kronos and COMPASS.
   
• FM Timekeeping Policy - Documenting Attendance Behaviors in Kronos and COMPASS (PDF) - Provides a 2 page reference sheet for supervisors with step by step instructions on how to code exceptions in Kronos and COMPASS as well as how to cancel auto deductions. This is a summary of the Manager Introductory Training.
   
• FM Time and Attendance Reports (PDF) - This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) describes the reports available to FM Leaders that help them ensure the proper action have been taken in Kronos and COMPASS to ensure employees are accurately paid and attendance behaviors are properly addressed.
   
• Definitions and Situations (PDF) - Provides definitions of items supervisors see in the Kronos application.  Also, provides managers with general guidance on how to code attendance exceptions.
   
• Kronos Exception Coding (PDF) - A flowchart version of the Definition and Situations document.
   
• Kronos Exception Log (PDF) - This is the exemption log template to be available at each timeclock.
   
• Requesting Schedule Changes Via the PAN Form (PDF) -  It is not necessary to complete every section of a PAN form if all you are requesting is a change to the employees schedule.  Follow these steps and the schedule change will be reflected in Kronos in 2 to 3 days.
