ImageNow is a user-friendly document imaging and management tool that allows you to easily capture, organize and manage documents. The application allows employees to quickly find the most up-to-date FM documents in one secure location. ImageNow has two interfaces: ImageNow desktop client and WebNow. The ImageNow desktop client provides the full functionality of the ImageNow system including, yet not limited to: capture profiles, user-friendly indexing, workflow specific to FM documents, and advanced search capabilities. Those users uploading, approving, or viewing a large number of documents should strongly consider using the desktop client.
Since the ImageNow desktop client will run only on Windows platforms, WebNow is the only option when using a Macintosh computer. WebNow is also a great option for accessing documents anywhere while still taking advantage of most of the functionality of the ImageNow client. To access your documents off campus you must use either the University of Minnesota modem pool or VPN. For more information, go to https://imagenow.umn.edu/webnow/.
