Jim Peters
Associate District Director
Health Sciences District
Jim comes to the U having served as a Facility Manager for Medtronic where he was responsible for maintenance, mail service and construction. Prior to Medtronic he was a Manager/Director for Adolfson & Peterson Construction and the Deluxe Corporation where he developed customized preventative maintenance programs, managed real estate portfolios and directed environmental health and safety. Jim also directed the Architectural Service Department responsible for space planning, design and project management for Unisys. Before joining Unisys he was a Mechanical Engineer for the St. Paul Water Utility. Jim earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. |

Greg Berger
Associate District Director
East Bank
District
Customers and crew members count on Greg. He brings a well rounded perspective to the operation having served the last nine years as a Shift Supervisor responsible for maintenance in Zone 5. Greg knows the challenges and opportunities facing second shift employees having served two years as a second shift Custodial Shift Supervisor in the Academic Health Center. Prior to joining the U, Greg supervised maintenance, custodial and parking staff for the Met Center Stadium and Arena productions. During the last year Greg has been active in Transformation efforts working as a Team Lead to create the District model. He is also familiar with campus from a student perspective as he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the U. |

Ron Mapston
Associate District Director
St. Paul
District
Ron has helped drive FM’s transformation efforts. He was a Team Lead during the initial visioning stage but as importantly served as a Shift Supervisor in St. Paul – implementing the “mini-zone” concept that serves as the base for FM’s new service model. Before joining the U, Ron worked for Northwest Airlines training ground crew employees and supervising basic ground operations. Prior to the airlines, Ron supervised maintenance employees at the Met Center, the former home of the Minnesota Northstars. Returning to the Maroon and Gold was a homecoming for Ron as he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the U. |

Rob Tunell
Associate District Director
North/West District
Rob has done it all for the U during the last 19 years. For the last year he has been a Team Lead working on the District model while balancing duties as Zone 4’s Interim Zone Manager. His perspective on our new organization structure was particularly valuable because of Rob’s first-hand experience having served as Signs and Graphic Manager, Information Services Manager, Quality and Work Control Manager, Facilities Manager, Shift Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Planner/Scheduler and Mechanic. Prior to joining the U, Rob managed housekeeping operations and building maintenance for Southview Acres health Care Center. |

Bill O'Neill
Assoicate Director
Central Services
Bill brings 22 years of University experience to FM’s transformation. He served on a Transformation Action Team while working as the Interim Director of Central Services. He has managed several Independent Service Organizations (ISO) while at the U, which has given him a great appreciation for satisfying his customers. Prior to assuming a management role, Bill worked as a General Foreman and Journeyman Carpenter. Bill holds a Bachelor’s degree in Woodworking Design from William Paterson University. |
