2009 Community Fund Drive FM Events 
The U of M Community Fund Drive is underway. This is our opportunity to give back to our communities through charitable giving. FM staff can make a donation to the Community Fund Drive by participating in following events:
Health Sciences Pizza Lunch / Dinner
Thursday, October 22
Mayo Auditorium Reception Area
Lunch - Noon
Dinner - 6 pm
$5, Bring Your Own Beverage
North-West 2nd-Annual Hot Wheels Race
Friday, October 30 at 2 pm
"Wilson Highway"
(24-foot wide hallway - not "in", but "outside" Wilson Library basement)
How to participate:
1. NW District day-shift personnel will comprise participants with a few VIP guests.
2. Hot Wheels vehicles provided OR bring your own ($.99 at Target).
3. Participants then sponsor a car as a donation to the fund drive ($5-minimum).
4. Race head-to-head down Wilson Highway with death defying "Leap of Doom" at finish line.
5. Fabulous prizes for winner of single elimination, longest run, consolation and destruction derby.
Goals: 100% participation in the Community Fund Drive. Participants encouraged to donate on-line or campus mail. We'll also hopefully be raising public awareness of the CFD.
