The University has thousands of visitors, students, faculty and staff on campus every day. It can be difficult to tell who is supposed to be in different areas. This is particularly critical for non-public and restricted space.

To help identify ourselves, FM employees will be issued a new Security ID Badge. These cards will have an employee’s picture and let everyone know they are FM representatives.

It’s important that the pictures for the new badges are up to date. If your U card picture is five years old or older, you will be required to get a new picture taken at the U card office. Supervisors will be receiving an e-mail with a list of crew members that need to get a new picture and each individual who requires a new photo will also get an e-mail. If you receive this e-mail please work with your supervisor to have you picture taken before Thanksgiving.

All employees will be issued the new Security ID Badges by January 1, 2009.
