Andrea Goodenough celebrated one year of working in FM’s Call Center this past November. She enjoys being able to talk to and work with so many customers, learning about the University and finding out how this business works. “There is a lot of energy at the U, and a lot of learning opportunities,” she said.
Building Systems Automation Center Manager Bob Uphus said, “Her past experience with customer service and product marketing made for an easy transition into the Customer Service Specialist position where she is providing a valuable service for FM. In addition to her regular duties, Andrea has been involved with other projects including the space layout plan for the new customer service center, and updates to the FM webpage. I have heard from many customers who appreciate Andrea's positive attitude and focus on providing great customer service.”
Andrea went to school at the School of Communication Arts for multimedia and design and enjoys designing jewelry in her spare time. “My family knows that I enjoy creating, but they would also say I am a computer graphics nerd.”
She said she has developed a greater appreciation for her father since starting at the U. Andrea’s father has been a pipe fitter for 30 years and she has enjoyed meeting many employees that her father has worked with or trained.
